Broiler housing
Broiler chicken cages are designed around meat-bird growing cycles. The house layout must bring together feeding, drinking, flock inspection, manure handling and practical access when birds are removed.
Broilers have different management requirements from laying hens. A broiler system needs to accommodate growing birds and the routines used for placement, inspection, flock removal and cleaning between batches. The cage arrangement should therefore be considered alongside the farm’s growing programme and handling methods.
The building and supporting equipment are part of the same plan. Aisle widths, row ends, feed delivery, water supply and manure routes all affect daily work. Ventilation must also suit the occupied tiers throughout the house. Discuss these conditions before selecting the number of rows or the tier arrangement.

Arrange feeding and drinking equipment so it suits the birds as they grow. Include adjustment, inspection and cleaning access in the house plan.
Allow working space for flock removal, manure discharge and between-batch cleaning. These routes should be considered before the equipment layout is finalized.
Share the following information so we can discuss the layout and prepare a configuration suited to your project.
Send your project requirements →No. Layers require an egg-production workflow, while broiler equipment is planned around growing meat birds and removing each batch. The equipment configuration and management routines should match the flock.
Provide building dimensions, bird numbers, the growing plan and information about feeding, ventilation and handling. These inputs help the team compare a suitable cage arrangement and the supporting systems.
